Our clinic connects patients across Australia with independent, AHPRA-registered doctors for the assessment of medicinal cannabis treatment. You begin by completing a confidential health questionnaire, which is reviewed by a doctor who determines whether treatment may be appropriate for you. If so, an e-prescription is issued.
Is medicinal cannabis legal in Australia?
Yes. Medicinal cannabis is legal in Australia when prescribed by a doctor, under the framework set by the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA). It is a Schedule 4 or Schedule 8 prescription medicine and cannot be purchased without a valid prescription.
Who reviews my health questionnaire?
Your questionnaire is reviewed by an independent doctor registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). The doctor assesses your information and makes an independent clinical decision about whether treatment is appropriate for you.
Is there a fee to submit a questionnaire?
Yes, a one-time questionnaire review fee of $300 applies. This fee covers the doctor’s time reviewing your information and helps ensure our doctors can focus on patients seeking genuine clinical assessment.
What happens if I’m found not eligible for treatment?
If the reviewing doctor determines you are not eligible for medicinal cannabis treatment, your questionnaire review fee will be fully refunded. You can read more on our Refund Policy page.
Does paying the fee guarantee I’ll receive a prescription?
No. Payment of the questionnaire review fee does not guarantee a prescription will be issued. All treatment decisions are made independently by the reviewing doctor, based on your individual health information.
How long does the review process take?
Review times vary depending on doctor availability and the completeness of your questionnaire. Most patients receive an outcome within 1–2 business days.
Is my health information kept confidential?
Yes. Your health information is shared only with the independent doctor reviewing your case and is stored securely on servers located in Australia. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
What happens after my e-prescription is issued?
If a prescription is issued, your medication is dispensed by our licensed pharmacy and shipped directly to the home address you provide. You will be kept informed of your order’s progress by email.
Who can use this service?
You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of Australia to submit a health questionnaire through our clinic.
